Quilting with Cats: Improving Your Work

Dear human,

In a recent post I described why I lay on your things (see Laying on a Thing is Improving a Thing).

Sometimes, I also attack your things. This is an important part of the artistic process in which I also improve your work. I know you don’t like to talk about it.

To help you understand, I offer the following poem by Francesco Marciuliano…

Scratch

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Scratch Scratch

Scratch

There

It is done

Now gaze upon your sofa leg

And see an exact replica

of Rodin’s The Thinker

I mean, if you look at it

from just the right angle

Anyway, on to my next masterpiece-

Turning your curtains into confetti

Really, I should have

my own gallery show

Love, Lucy
